Red Flag Warning is an awareness initiative dedicated to helping people recognize unhealthy relationship patterns before harm occurs. Through simple, relatable education, the project highlights warning signs of manipulation, control, and emotional abuse while also showing what healthy behavior looks like. For many survivors, the aftermath includes profound loss — of confidence, stability, trust, and sometimes relationships themselves. Family and friends may not understand what happened or why recovery takes time. Isolation can deepen, and you may begin to question your own reality.

Prolonged emotional trauma can affect both mind and body. Survivors may struggle with memory, concentration, fatigue, confusion, sleep disruption, or a nervous system that remains on high alert long after the danger has passed.
These responses are not weakness — they are common effects of long-term stress and trauma.
The impact may become more visible over time, as survivors begin to process what happened once they are finally safe.
After years of healing from Complex PTSD and Major Depression, I created Red Flag Warning to help others recognize unhealthy patterns earlier than I did.
Education at a young age matters.
